I remember when that happened, it was late season 3 or so. I remember the Civil War Re-enactment had like no women in it because of that happening. Theres ONE woman in the whole episode and it was some one-note character voiced by Matt or Trey doing a high-pitched voice.

The end of Mr. Hankey's Christmas Classics has a tribute to Mary Kay Bergman. In case you're wondering what that breif montage towawrds the end of the episode of a bunch of the female characters was all about.

Isn't it ironic how in Die Hippies Die the mayor shoots herself in the head and comes back fine later in the episode.

That's too bad. I thought it was strange how Wendy, in the later seasons, had a different voice, but that explains it.

Jesus fuck james. It's relevant because the show hasn't had just a shit ton of voice actors that weren't one offs and a lot of people (myself included) don't hang onto the minutiae of Hollywood and television (we just watch the damn shit) so no, we didn't know a South Park voice actress shot herself 7 years ago.
