What was your first RPG?

You talking about the original Final Fantasy for the NES or the remake? Wasnt quite sure if it did (I played it a few years ago on the NES) but the original FF had its own flaws.

No wonder it wasn't released in the US before Origins. I think if this was my first RPG, I'd have had to snap something in half.

nah, I still lost the data. I guess I wasnt really bred on the SUPER old Rpg's, even if it was the first. I consider myself to be an oldschool gamer, but I think that just really shows it's age (and not in a good way.

I was trying to think of the name of my first RPG I played and it was Dragon Warrior. I actually had some fun in it but I got lost and got killed by a skeleton or something.

Turn based RPGs with random battles suck so godamn much.

think for me it was swords and serpents (a nes dungeons and dragons style game) followed by final fantasy 7 years later

and yeah pokemon red/blue was the shit when it came out. lcould never be bothered with the sequels tho

I'm sure back in its day, it was considered an amazing game. But if that had been my first exposure to RPGs, I'd have been turned off RPGs forever. It's like if Turok Evolution had been your first FPS, or if Bubsy 3d had been your first platformer.
