Round One:
Promising a 'delicious and robust flavor' this tea is made of burdock, dandelion, jamaican sarsparilla, juniper berries (i thought these poisonious actually), ginger, black pepper and long pepper. I made my first cup with a 15 minute steep and noticed an immediate pleasant aroma, the first sip was sweet but peppery as hell, the aftertaste is also peppery.
No real reaction yet except a nice warm tea feeling, the aftertaste is like chewing a peppery sock. I'm still alive.
*On further notice, it seems this tea ISN'T the bowel eradicator I feared, so for now McClain all my stories of spattered, filthy walls and the forlorn tears of rage I thought I would shed lie dormant....................................but will the after lunch cup be the
pebble before the avalanche? The catalyst of the explosion? The mic check for the Red Rocker!
Only time will tell.
