The 2010 Eyegore Awards Ceremonies and Halloween Horror Nights

...CONTINUED

Next up, we went to the Friday the 13th "Kill, Jason, Kill!" maze. I like the title, but I really don't
think you need to tell Jason to kill. I'm pretty sure he doesn't need encouragement in that area.

The welcome sign to Camp Crystal Lake never feels particularly welcoming, does it?

I always appreciate it when they show hooded Jason Voorhees.
Also, they had this room smelling like pine trees to further push the atmosphere of a campgrounds / woods setting.

Camping really is tons o' fun and everybody should try it.

Hey Jason, I think you forgot your mask.

Need some aspirin there, buddy?

Don't fret... we all have our little accidents.

Notice: if you find a severed head, please return it immediately.

HIGH-FIVE!

Life can be such a grind...

If there's one thing that pisses me off, it's when they skimp on the blood and gore in a horror maze.
Come on Universal... get with the program!

Baby Steps, untie your knots!

Just before we left the maze, Re got attacked with an axe by Jason Voorhees.

Nothing screams "Halloween" like Krustyland!

Heading down the seemingly endless string of escalators.

There sure is a nice view of the valley from them though.

Yeah, yeah, yeah... you want to play a game. WE GET IT ALREADY.

I know lady, I'd be upset too. Those chain-link fences totally don't go with the decor.

Sleepytime is fun for everyone!

There are easier ways to lose weight pal, but whatever works, I guess...

This was one of my favorite photos from the entire evening.

As this charred body came out of the furnace, I started to take a photo of it when it spurted fluids all over me.
Sure, I had to clean my camera lens off, but it was totally worth it since I got that awesome shot.

Still hanging around, eh?

Oh come on, you can drink your way out of this problem.

What a nice girl, donating all that blood!

Losing your keys is such a pain in the ass.

Oink, oink, my good man!

Ouch. Don't worry man, a little physical therapy and you'll be right as rain.

Pig man loves playing with Saw puppets., and who are we to tell him he should do something else with his time?

There's still more Halloween Horror fun to see!

Great photos this year! I personally liked the Nightmare remake but it doesn't hold a candle to the original. It has some aspects I thought were cool, and some were really lamesauce. I personally give it 2.5/5. Worth watching once.

"Mr. Skeleton Pilgrim" is obviously part pimp, judging from his flamboyant costume. Not very scary, just plain awesome.

Well thank you once more Sir Roger of Barr for providing me with most excellent snapshots of yet another thing to add to my 'to do' list. I thought the make-up on the Friday the 13th victim getting thier face ground on the grinding wheel was pretty damn excellent, and I must say that Re is the smiliest Jason victim I have ever seen, you must be very proud. Fab pics RoG.

Heheh yeah, they always hone in on Re during these mazes. I guess she looks so innocent as an easy scare to the actors, so they always end up chasing after her. Pretty damned funny to watch, I gotta admit. Anyway, thanks for the compliments on the pics... glad you guys enjoyed 'em!

Late I know... but I was so surprised you didn't recognize Lon Chaney's "Red Death" from the old phantom of the opera movie... That's no simple Skeleton Pilgrim ... that's the Plague Bringer himself! It's the staff that actually gives it away. But I got such a kick out of seeing that photo. Makes me almost sorry I moved cross country.
