I-Mockery Pays A Visit To Son Of Monsterpalooza 2014 In Burbank!
by: -RoG-

...CONTINUED

One of my favorite things at Son of Monsterpalooza this year was the "It's Alive!" Project,
in which 90 artists were brought in to reimagine the Bride of Frankenstein in any way they saw fit.
Each piece was absolutely fantastic, and here are some of my personal favorites from the show:

The Bride of Oz!

The Bride of Liberty!

The T-Bride!

Restless Villagers!

Bride of the Creature!

What Lies Beneath!

Punk Bride!

Prometheian Bride of Frankenstein!

Bride of Burlapstein!

A Tumultuous Twist!

The Bride's Castle!

Sculpting The Bride!

Voodoo Bride!

Iron Bride!

Robo Bride!

Bride of Audrey II!

The Bride of Mars!

Egyptian Bride!

Nightmare Before Christmas Bride!

To A World of Gods and Monsters!

Nurse Bride!

Lady Odonata XXXVIII!

Frequency!

Bride of Franken Berry!

Electrically Domesticated!

Queen of Atlantis!

Bride of the Titans!

Bride of Tokyo!

Gorgon Bride!

Bolts of Frightening!

Bride of Gigerstein!

And lastly, they had a killer scale replica of the Tall Man from Phantasm with one of his sentinel spheres.

Creepy, but it's not like he was the real Angus Scrimm, so there was no reason for me to be afraid...

...perhaps I spoke to soon.

I hope you've enjoyed this in-depth look at Son of Monsterpalooza 2014, and maybe after seeing all those photos you feel like you attended the event without even leaving the comfort of your home. If you have a chance in the future though, I highly recommend checking it out. After all, it's not every day you get to meet one of your horror heroes like Angus Scrimm. The Tall Man doesn't seem quite as tall when he's sitting down, but he still plays a good game, Booooyyy!!!

NOTE: I'm testing out a new comments system using Disqus, so you no longer have to register an account on I-Mockery to post a comment. You can post anonymously as a guest or you can post with your social media accounts. Hope you'll all join in the fun this season and blab it up with your fellow Halloween chums! Don't be shy, give it a try and chime in below!
