by: -RoG-

...CONTINUED

The photo doesn't do it justice, but this was a nice little blacklit floating candle display.

Giant inflatable jack has an affinity for light fixtures.

This is the expression one makes when he realizes he forgot both his clothes and his penis.

These projected spirit displays looked absolutely spectacular.
Would love to see somebody using these in a yard haunt this season.

Can't go wrong with classic Halloween blow mold decorations.

The Halloween Kid is all about working vintage aesthetics into their art.

Loved these pumpkin prints.

More pumpkin prints.

And more.

Guess this ghostly bride is bummed out since she's missing her groom.

Not sure if you should trust a guy who wants to hand you flyers he dug up with a shovel.

Shouldn't I be wearing those safety goggles before I break the glass?

Yep... nothing eerie here.

A fine tribute to Leatherface.

And here's a tribute to Jason Voorhees.

And, of course, Freddy Krueger.

My favorite of the bunch would have to be this homage to Hannibal.

Somebody taking their dislike of Barbie a bit overboard.

I'm sure you'll find these lights at Ikea any day now.

These too.

Well, at least she has the frame for a dress.

This is what happens to candy corn if you don't eat it, so do your part this Halloween season!

The iron gates of a cemetery.

Jack-o-lanterns emerging from their coffin, ready for the 2014 season.

And this is how all graduates look by the time they've paid off their school loans.

A live old-timey radio show performance.

Before we left, we got this great souvenir lenticular photograph in front of a haunted house backdrop. Spooooky!

And as we left ScareLA 2014, look who joined us for our elevator ride back down. Thanks for the send off, fella!

I'm happy to say that ScareLA grew significantly this year, and it seemed like a wonderful blend of celebrating both Halloween and haunted attractions this time around. Huge improvement over last year, and I don't think anybody would feel cheated on the cost of admission. I honestly think they could rent out another floor and fill it with even more vendors, so here's hoping they can make that happen next year. Thanks again for the invite, and see ya in 2015, ScareLA!
