It just didn't do a good job of explaining why the deadites are around. We know they played the recording of the guy chanting, but why was he even doing that? I love zombies as much as any other guy on these forums, but it helps when you have some clue as to why they're here, or if you're not going to explain it, at least make it scarier than that.
