This show was put on by a poster company and specifically geared towards selling affordable pieces to the general public, so that's why there were no canvases.
That gallery puts on plenty of shows with amazing paintings and I've featured a variety of them here on the site in the past. There are tons of great galleries here in LA really, all of which have paintings galore. There are plenty of people out there still painting all the time. And I should know...
