i can understand just leaving it on and having it be like a t.v., that's awesome. but considering the update starts by talking about people who don't like to play fighting games and getting them involved, does sakurai really expect people to buy ssbb even though they don't play fighting games? pay 50 bucks to watch other people play?

Betting coins seems really exploitable to me. You could get a group of your friends and set one of them with a 100% handicap, then bet all your coins on him and then have your other friend take a dive so you win a ton.

That's all assuming coins actually do anything.

You can only bet coins on the online matches, which are randomly assembled.

MONDAY'S UPDATE: DS CONTROLLER
With the new DS/Wii peripheral, you can now play on your favorite handheld! You can even use the stylus to press the B button. Of course, the action will only happen on your tv set, but you can see your status on the top DS screen.
We're looking into a Wi-Fi function so you can control your character wirelessly!
