I-Mockery Pays A Visit To Rise Of The Jack O'Lanterns 2015!
by: -RoG-

...CONTINUED

Had to take a one last vintage style jack-o-lantern photo.

Once again, they decided to pay tribute to some of our favorite people who passed that year.

Leonard Nimoy. R.I.P.

Wes Craven. R.I.P.

Christopher Lee. R.I.P.

B.B. King. R.I.P.

Boo! With the pumpkin carvings now behind us, we made our way into their incredible Halloween shop.

What kind of monster would dare to devour a nice string of orange Halloween lights?

Apparently, this tree monster would.

Swirly McSkeleton is the name I've given him. Nice bowtie and candy corn dangler you got there, my twisty friend!

A happy jack-o-lantern string light.

Some wonderfully festive Halloween floral arrangements.

Mac Tonight hasn't aged well, but he still looks pretty amazing like this too.

The owls are not what they seem.

Classic style paper mache Halloween decorations.

Am I dead? Is... is this heaven?

The killer Dracula Drool liquid candy display was still there, which I originally covered in my 2014 Halloween Candy Review!

All you need is a fish tank to submerge it in and you can recreate the Rise of the Jack O'Lanterns experience in your home!

Excellent! Halloween bubble lights will always be the best.
Still don't believe me? Then check out the Radko Halloween Candolier.

More antique style paper mache pumpkins.

This one was just too perfect, so I had to buy one.
Loved how you could rotate her arm to show or hide her face behind the pumpkin.

Paper mache Halloween goblets? Sign me up!

Old Halloween designs from long before we were born will forever look spookier than the modern ones.

We're a happy Halloween family.

If Christmas gets a tree, then so should Halloween. Then again, this owl ornament would look perfect on either one.

Nice how they used the long strands of packaging paper to make frames for these.

I really may need to try this technique on my own decorations. Looks like tree branches & vines.

Yep, I definitely need to do this.

No, THANK YOU!

Alright, I hope you've enjoyed this photo & video tour of the wonderful Rise of the Jack O'Lanterns event that was on display at Descanso Gardens. You can visit therise.org to learn more about when and where they'll be in New York and California this season. If you're within driving distance of any of their 2016 events, I *highly* recommend checking them out in person, because it's a truly unique Halloween event, and you won't believe just how impressive they are to see in person.
