I liked it, somewhat. It's a throwback, so it's old as all get out. Like holding a button to aim, in lieu of the right trigger. I actually really liked the mode where you move from the best gun down to the worst gun (i.e. golden gun thru the others down to slappers). That was awesome fun, especially trying to kill someone with the throwing knives. Man, that brings back memories.
Which, incidentally, is the only thing that mod is particularly good at.

If you played the second one before, you might get confused a bit in the beginning (I know I was since the whole thing worked differently in Wots2).
Basically it goes like this:
If the enemy gets the red icon above his head - Pull, heīs trying to push you
If he gets the blue Icon - Heīs trying to pull you, donīt attack, you can kick or throw him instead
If he blocks - Push and hack away
It gets pretty easy to pull and push most enemies after a bit of practice but I still fall for their own pulls...but then again I just forged my first legendary weapon so I should be fine against most enemies.
What really worked for me was finding a weapon with a stance I like (I love the draw-stance, itīs so badass). That and unlocking dual-wielding, it makes the game SO much easier until you get your hands on decent weapons...it also helps to know where to get money and remembering that you can kill merchants to get all of your spent money back :)

It is a stealth game, it's just you can actually defend yourself better. If you try to play anything like Rambo, you don't get far because it only takes a few shots to kill you on normal. It is very enjoyable though and the AI is decent.

I think what people mean is that the stealth rules have been relaxed a bit, what with a meter that calls out when you could potentially be seen, the ability to leave a weird shadow clone of yourself when you're spotted, and the whole marking/multi-kill system. Also, you get a silenced pistol with infinite ammo.
It's not a total action game; it's just more action-oriented, sort of like how Mass Effect 2 is still an RPG, but more action-oriented than the previous installment.

I actually like the idea of that Shadow-Sam. But it shows how...untactical the enemies are, doesn´t it? They assume you´re where they´ve last seen you and fire on that spot. I understand what it´s supposed to do gameplay-wise but in terms of realism? I dunno.
Sank about 25 hours into Way of the Sambadancer 3 now and after exploiting the Groundhog Day-Aspect of the game to max one or two weapons (great on hard difficulty but almost too powerful already) and learn all dualsword-moves I´ve gone back to play actual stories, now that I can use any NPC-Skin and have almost all accessories to modify my character :) I especially like to play as the old Biwa-Minstrel who saves your game normally, he´s badass :D

It´s not really a "Shadow Clone", it´s a shadowy outline of Sam that indicates where the enemies think he is until they spot the real Sam again. It´s nothing you can do willingly, just part of the interface.

It has about the amount of action as Splinter Cell Chaos Theory. Getting detected makes enemies call for backup, so stealth is still the best idea. The whole multi kill thing requires you to kill enemies in melee stealth before you can use it to balance it. It works very well.

It's cool to fight Predators as Aliens but as you said, you have to get close enough.
Most of the times I'm running full speed into a plasma cannon or disc. I must say though that the tail whips while an Alien is on a wall is extremely deadly because there is no delay time. I killed quite a few people yesterday in the moving pyramid map with it.

So I've just re-installed Medieval II: Total War, and it's expansion pack, but for some reason I can't play as all the factions that I remember I could from years ago. I liked playing the Denmark with their axemen and shit, and I'm pretty sure there were some Arabic ones in there somewhere too, and Russia, but now all I can seem to choose between is England, France, Milan (seriously, I get Milan instead of Vikings?) Scotland, Spain, Venice and perhaps one other not entirely memorable one.
Am I missing a patch? Do I need to complete the campaign mode with one of the boring races first? I want the Danes and Holy Roman Empire damn it!

What I mean is that the game is a lot more forgiving in regards to stealth. It used to be that you had to carefully monitor your degree of visibility beyond "in the shadows/not in the shadows", as well as how fast you moved for fear of making too much noise.
As for the marking insta-kill bit, I would definitely call that an action game move because you used to be required to neutralize enemies manually. Before, getting in close for a silent takedown was just a tricky, but rewarding way to bring enemies down without making a scene. Now, it's more about loading up for your three-kill supermove. It's not bad; it's just different to have Sam Fisher pulling off action movie stuff like that.
This is why I brought up ME2 in particular; as in that game, changes have been made to the original formula in the name of dropping some of the slower-paced elements to streamline the action. It's merely different, and the changes shouldn't stop a person from enjoying the game. I will say that I found the black-and-white hiding bit kind of annoying, though.
Also, can you not drag bodies anymore? I couldn't get that to happen in the demo.

Banning is not so much of a problem. The only things that get banned are extremely violent games or games that have Swastikas in them. Examples of banned games would be the old and new Wolfenstein-Games, Dead Rising (I´m still allowed to own it, just couldn´t buy it anymore or show it publicly), the first Condemned and so on.
Our rating-guys basically have a problem with violence against humans and sometimes they don´t even care at all it seems. God of war 3 for example was released without any cuts or modifications, it´s just rated 18 and that´s it.
Our real problem here are some old farts who call themself politicians who never tire of blaming Video Games for all kinds of violence. Everytime there is someone running amok - Videogames, no doubt. It´s really really annoying. Sad fact: We had quite some cases of some kid running amok here over the last few years. Why? Because they were completely messed up losers no one cared about. That´s what drove them over the edge, everyone knows that but admitting it would be admitting that our politicians have to do something in terms of families and education and that´s WAY too expensive no sir, no money for helping the messed up.
Luckily most important politicians don´t give a shit because they know the Videogame-industry is too important by now to piss it off and that the whole affair is just plain bullshit anyway. But it´s still a popular way to draw attention away from real problems like stupid parents, insufficiently effective schools and other stuff in this country.
Of course, those who criticise Videogames and blame them for all kinds of stuff never touched or even saw a videogame. A special problem is a single guy, a...what´s the word in english...he´s a professor for criminology I think and he neeeever tires of honking around like a fucking elk when it comes to Videogames in connection to violence. Kinda like our version of Jack Thompson, only that no one shut the stupid bastard up yet.
In short: Our problem is not so much the censoring of videogames, even though that CAN be problematic every now and then, it is the defamation of millions of people with a harmless hobby, the discrimination of videogamers and the deliberate misinformation of the public by these liars and politicians who either use the whole topic to avert attention from their own mistakes or simply because they actually believe in all that bullshit. How I´d love to see them replaced by efficient people, that would be so wonderful.
Interesting fact: Most of the time, these people seem to be part of the CSU (christly social union), the bavarian branch of the christian-democrats who are about as convervative as you can get in germany. Egh...bavarians, you don´t understand what the hell they´re saying, they ruin our politics (not that other politicians were a lot better though), they´re way too extreme with their CSU-guys...what the fuck do we need ´em for anyway...
Not that I´ve ever been to Bavaria but if they can be prejudiced against my hobby and by that against me, I can afford not to like them too.
Oh and as a final statement: I HATE politics, it destroys so much with it´s scheming and all the lies and what´s worse, people believe all those lies. It´s like a fucking circus everytime there´s an election here. People "promise the blue from the skies", as we say here and still, a lot of people actually believe all this and go vote for the idiots. It´s true for all parties here, sure and not voting is a dangerous thing to do because it strengthens the brown guys but still: I won´t be able to vote for ANY major party while keeping a clean conscience...
Sorry, I got side tracked but maybe it´s interesting to know for you guys how things are handled over here.
Oh by the way, Strange Journey simply wasn´t released in europe, just a money-thing for Atlus, the strong religious themes never posed any problem here.
Edit (15:30h here): Hey, Dr. Boogie, guess what? Strange Journey just got here. The order from the Netherlands that is...talk about flying Dutchmen...2 Days, that´s a good time...

So in short its not a crime to own a copy of the new Wolfenstein with swastikas? Just selling it is?
As far as I know it would be against the law to buy one now that it has been banned. It always takes a while untile they get around to ban it. Selling it here in germany is not allowed no. The german version of the new Wolfenstein was modified, they removed the swastikas (or Hakenkreuz, as it is called here) and modified the names and some of the WW2-Posters in the game...the Nazis are the "Wolfpack" in the german version :lol
Funny thing is, they apparently forgot ONE swastika in one level and they had to pull ALL the games from the shelves and as far as I know the didn´t re-release it...strange things can happen here, indeed.
To finally answer your question: You could get problems if customs cought a german importing banned games but you can still get them here and there. Just owning them won´t get you in much trouble though, especially not if they have nothing to do with the whole nazi-stuff (which is sick since all you do in those games is KILL nazis, i can´t count the legions of germans I killed in the 20 years of my videogaming career :lol). To be honest, I don´t know the specific laws concerning these things, nor do I care about them a lot. I play what I want to play and in 9 of 10 cases, the fact that I live in germany won´t stop me from doing that.
By the way, another interesting censoring was "the Darkness", a great game most of you will know. There they changed the heart-eating to soul-eating which is less bloody but WAY more horrifying if you ask me...still, it´s censorship and I don´t do censorship :|

Basically, ALL the heart-eating gore was removed and all you get is that black shade-ball-thingy you see in the middle of the screen. Lame, eh?
I think the Darkness is one of the worst versions to own in german. Just for fun, hereīs what was cut or changed (thereīs a very handy german site that keeps track of these things so you know what they took out)
-No bloody impacts of shots when hitting a target
-No damage textures
-No blood marks on the floor or walls (game becomes eerily "clean" by that)
-No Blood effects on darkling kills
-No burning enemies
-No begging or crying enemies on the floor
-No ragdoll effects on corpses (they love taking that out for some reason)
-No impaling via Tentacle (enemies just fall over and canīt be impaled)
-No heart-eating
-7 execution-moves removed, rest lacks blood-effects
-Cutscenes have no gore or blood, some are censored I think (think of the drill-sequence, no blood)
-2 Bonus Comic unlockables were removed because of swastikas (instead of just censoring the symbols)
Can it get any worse I ask you? I donīt think so. But then again this is one of the worst examples, thatīs how they handled these games in the 90s, mostly PC-Shooters got that intensive treatment.
also funny fact the japanesse version of god of war 3 has a z rating wich is kinda like the adults only us rating however the sex scene is censored :/
Thankfully, nudity is not that much of a problem here, germanyīs arch enemy seems to be violence in general...

"Shooting someone is sick already, but doing...anything else to the corpse is outright evil". Sounds stupid, but thatīs the reason behind it.
The people behind those censorings as well as the people who lead the "killergame"-debate as it is actually called canīt see the difference between a human being and pixels that form the illusion of a human being on a screen. To them, itīs almost the same thing.
More than once, FPS-Games were called murder-simulations and other nonesense. Someone actually tried to convince the public that playing Counterstrike can turn you into a deadly marksman because...well, you were practicing under SUCH realistic circumstances and blah blah blah..
I think you can see where this is headed. Iīve killed millions of beings on the screen but does that help me aim a real gun or teach me how to handle the recoil? No, because Iīve never fired or held a real gun AND Iīm fucking afraid of guns in general :lol

I never got why people don't understand this point. Just because people think it's fun to blow up a car in a VIDEOGAME does not make them psychotic, emotionless monsters. Bad parenting makes people psychotic, emotionless monsters.
I've shot a gun and been shot at and I don't think those people played many videogames. Unless Atari and Colecovision leads to psychotic episodes in which people think random pedestrians are all trying to steal their drugs or something. I love how politicians and the media demonize anything that they do not understand unless it's an iPod or something. They go insane for fucking Apple.
I just looked at the German version of The Darkness and I think it could be more damaging to children. If you shoot something and it doesn't react and just falls over, doesn't that create a sort of immoral void where your actions in the videogame have no repercussion? If they don't scream or bleed, it just makes it seem like they are even more soulless dummies. I dunno. Food for thought I guess. Maybe they should ban guns? That would keep kids from getting them.

Of course, but itīs not as expensive to blame some kind of medium instead of trying to improve the way kids are brought up these days.

Now that IS an interesting thought. When I think about how I reacted to gore or blood back then...hm...not sure though...which 14 year old boy doesnīt like to watch Braindead for example. A movie I canīt watch anymore because the gore makes my almost 30 year old self sick, it went from awesome to disgusting over the years.
Banning guns and making them totally unavailable to civilians could certainly help since even over here every case of someone running amok in the past years (all schoolkids by the way, no grownups) had guns involved. Mostly Handguns, some Hunting rifles...the parents either had guns or the kids were in a shooting club (right word?) which has a lot of tradition over here...something I canīt understand and Iīd ban it right away if I could. Thankfully, it would not be as hard as it would be in the States but even here thereīs a strong gun-lobby, only that it consists of hunters and gun-club-members since those are the only civilan people who can own guns...
That reminds me of something I always wanted to ask an american...I know itīs not as hard to own a gun in the states, sure. But...how much does a simple handgun cost? Something common maybe. Always wanted to know that.

If you know where to look, you can get an assault rifle for around 400$. I'm not joking. Handguns should never be allowed in a civilized society, as they only have one purpose, which is killing people. No one goes hunting with a desert eagle for fucks sake. Rifles and Shotguns should be allowed in limited circumstances for hunting and protection of places like convenience stores. I hope that people will get civilized in America sooner or later though.
Children and guns do not ever mix well, which is why any sane parent should not keep a gun in their home. Maybe if children got beaten up like they used to and actually had to fight for things, they would know better than to use a weapon. When people know what violence can cause, they tend not to use it. A kid in my city was arrested for shooting another boy in the face because he didn't want to fight him, man to man. It's horrible.

SSF4 doesn't have that horrible song anymore and it's actually a big improvement from the regular SF4. It still can't hold a candle to KOF98 but otherwise it's pretty good. I also got my hands on SSF4 at my friend's place. Sadly, I'm shit with the 360 pad (GODDAMN PIECE OF SHIT DPAD) and even worse with an arcade stick (I can't do quartercircles for the life of me). I'll definitely have to buy the PS3 version at launch.
Still, fucking awesome game. The new music is fantastic, the new characters are fun as hell, and the tweaks to old characters are welcome. My girl Cammy's got a serious boost in the Spin Knuckle's speed, and Canon Spike seems to have more range.
Juri is fun as hell. Her projectile is pretty awesome, and she's versatile as fuck. Dudley's really good. Almost too good, IMO. He can uppercut and catch you with a second uppercut (or his Ultra). He's fucking fierce. Ibuki is pretty fun, and a little better than in 3rd Strike; I feel like you need to be really strategic with her, since her moves are pretty conditional, but there's huge payback. Cody and Guy are really fun; Guy's kind of a bastard with his target combo and air grab. Cody's fun when you wanna fuck with people. Playing defensively seemed to work best for me.
Overall, really awesome stuff.

I can't say for sure but I assume its because of two things, Scarcity and that Samurai Shodown 6 is included in the Anthology.

I finished Thief 2.
Actually, I didn't think it was as good as 1 or 3, mostly because the last three missions left an awful taste in my mouth. I really would have hated Casing the Joint/Masks less if it had just been a single mission; Garret's never had to visit a place in two separate nights in order to effectively rob the occupants blind and deaf before, and I don't see why he should have to now just because the house is full of super secret passages and security systems and shite. Plus, when you initially case the mansion you don't get many opportunities to steal anything really valuable, so the next mission is basically you running around the place butt naked against twice as many guards as the last time. Not impossible, but fucking annoying.
I didn't care for Sabotage, either, mostly because the Builder's Children are a left ass to deal with on Expert and can frequently one-shot you in total darkness with little or no warning. Still a good game otherwise, though, I think my favorite mission was the one where you run around the Lost City kidnapping Cavador under the Mechanist's noses.
Now I have to figure out how to get the original game to not shit itself inside out on XP, because I haven't finished that one either. The demo version seems to work fine when I only run it on one processor, but the full game won't.

Got God of War 3 from a friend and, as expected, it´s great. The sheer scale of things is really something else and it doesn´t even take it´s time to get to these giant confrontations, they´re there from minute one and don´t stop coming...
Oh and I think GOW3 must be the most brutal game I´ve played in a LONG time...some of it also seems really unneccessary but whatever, it´s not like Kratos is known for his Ikebana-skills and pleasant conversational abilities.

I see it like this: 5, 6, 7 unique weapons and dozens of combos are better than 2 weapons and 4 combos.
That was always something I didnīt like about the GOW-Series, the fighting is not as much fun as it should be. Same with the third. 4 weapons, only two are noteworthy since the other two are just recycled chainblades again. Then again, GOW is of course a universe or two easier than any DMC-Game (except 4 which sucked and was boring and uninspired and 2 which doesnīt exist) so playing it is more relaxed.
I still think, the best game in this specific action-brawling-whatever-genre is Bayonetta.

Played some of the Donkey Kong Country games today on the Wii. Mostly 2; 1's controls frustrate me for some reason, and I can't quite pinpoint why. I was dying a lot. The second game didn't frustrate me, so I just stuck with that. Plus, it's just way better overall. Didn't try 3, which I actually kinda liked save for that retard Kiddie.
But I remember all of the levels and music by heart, even though I haven't touched those games in over a decade. Felt going to your parents' place after not being there for a long time, and everything's still the same :(
Oh, except I didn't have chicken pox when I was playing 2. So I actually had more fun now.

Tried sanding down some of the rust on the trackball rollers yesterday. Looks OK but I forgot to apply some lubricant when I put it back together and it scratched the ball. :( Kinda pissed, gotta have to take it apart again and see if I can spray some WD-40 in there and make it perfect this time.

Finished Nier today. Really nice game, even though the beginning and ending don´t make much sense yet. Playing through the Kind-of-newgame+ now which starts me in the middle of the game but with new scenes and partial understanding of the Shade-language which in turn changes how you react to them because they are not mindless spirit-beasts anymore, now, that you can more or less understand what they are doing.

Ya, It's kind of a family heirloom. I dragged it up from the basement a few months ago and finally got the chance to open it up and see what I can fix. The first time I cracked it open I found a carnival ticket caught in one of the track ball rollers, second time I sanded down the rust, and HOPEFULLY today I can crack the dam think open for the third and final time and lube up all the rollers. It's such a pain in the ass to do but I want to working perfectly. I'm OCD like that.
I also got a SCI Cabinet and a TX-Sector Pinball machine.
Word to the wise if you or anyone else who reads this is thinking of collecting.
1. You need a lot of space. Right now I have these in my living room and they fit but if I buy anymore I'm going to move the collection to the garage.
2. Buy a game that goes on forever. Games similar to Donkey Kong, Pac-Man, Centipede, Crystal Castles, galaga.....
If you buy a game that only has 6 or 7 levels to it you're going to have a feeling of buyers remorse. Find games that are point / skill based. Level based games only works on consoles.

Started FF13 and completely confused, Fight Night Round 4 is hilariously bad at times, and Condemned 2 is a shit-stain on mankind. Oh yeah, Assassin's Creed 2 is just as deplorable to play as the first. Ubisoft should really give up at this point. Their games are getting worse and worse and their PC DRM is a joke.

I really enjoyed Condemned 2. It was no way as scary or intense as the first one, of course. But it was just so much fun to beat all those crazy idiots to a pulp :)
I also really liked AC2, quite a lot more than the first one in terms of gameplay.
FF13...sold it really fast after finishing it...very forgettable mediocre game.
DougClayton4231
May 2nd, 2010, 03:50 PM
The combat in Condemned 2 is just as horrible as the first. I hate it so much. It's like a retarded rock-paper-scissors.
AC1 and 2 are identical in terms of gameplay from what I've experienced. I got maybe 3 hours in and I'm giving up on it.
FF13's battle system is so dated and horrible. I mean, it's 2010 not 1997.
OxBlood
May 2nd, 2010, 04:21 PM
Condemned 2 had very nice brawls. The first one had horrible combat, that´s true...what´s wrong with RPS-concepts? All fighting games have that.
AC 2 get better later on at least that´s what I remember, it´s not as stupid as the first one.
FF13...well...the battle system is the ONLY thing remotely interesting about the whole game. I still want to punch the guy that wrote the story. THAT is something you can´t pull in the year 2010 anymore if you ask me.
Give me a piece of paper and one or two hours and I´ll give you something ten times better in terms of character-development and world design. God that game was boring.
Rent Nier, very good story and a normal Real time battle system. WAY better than FF13 and Nier is still just a high 70 to mid 80% title. I know, I know, different genre but still...

AC2 is SOOOO much better then the first one.
DougClayton4231
May 2nd, 2010, 04:48 PM
AC2 is identical in 90% of cases. The combat is the same, the exploration is the same, even the story seems to be the same type of dribble from the first. The only differences I've seen are the customization and the stupid ass puzzles in between sequences. The whole switching in between italian and english is fucking stupid. The whole game should be in italian with subtitles. The only fun I've had is shanking random guards.
The combat in Condemned 2 is horrible, there is no fluidity and it feels clunky. I dunno I just don't enjoy the stiff controls.
Maybe some of these games will get better. In the mean time, I'm going to play some Punch Out on the wii.

It's sorta less poopy when you play through with maxed-out Rifle skills, but a heavily modded assault shotgun can one-shot pretty much anything from the other side of the map. Hilarious, but game breaking!

Alan Wake is about 8 hours, according to the reviews, so it should clock in at about 6-7. Not enough lenght for me to spend more than 20, maybe 30 bucks on it...and again, it is another victim of the fucking blight known as DLC. Finish the fucking game and then move on to the next for the love of Shub Niggurath. I hate this shit.
I CAN however live with the DLC for Mass Effect 2 because the game was finished before they released bonus-content. The new SMG is really awesome and I continued my Insanity-Playthrough with my Infiltrator. Suprisingly easy I must say but I blame it on the class.
Total Aggro-wipe-invisibility for 6 Seconds is a real lifesaver. Strongest regular Weapon in the game with 175% damage slow-motion-even-more-damage-headshots every 10 seconds? Why did I play that stupid Vanguard again? Can´t remember, all he can do is his super-suicide-charge...

To me it is important to stay entertained while spending a reasonable ammount of money for that entertainment. 8 really entertaining hours are nice and all but that´s one evening of my time and the next day I´m bored again because the game was...well...short and I´m done with it. I dunno. It's just that if the amount of time you spend with a game is the only way to account for worth... well, that's pretty fucking sad. Moreover, that you have some sort of formula, even if it's just something arbitrary, to figure out how much you should spend on a game, well that's doubly sad. You can't judge a game based on length, period. I've played games for two hours and have been very happy with the money I've spent on them. Oh, youīre right about that, no doubt.
But as I said, I donīt have the luxury to buy all the games I would like to play when theyīre released so I buy games that keep me entertained ideally for a long time so I donīt have to buy a new game every week. Donīt have the money for that. I have to play economically so to speak.
The last game that really stood out and had this "more than a sum of itīs parts"-thing for me still was Bayonetta. Games these days donīt have that much artistic value anymore, at least most of them.
But take 3D Dot Game Heroes for example. The game is short too but Iīll so buy it right on releaseday and Iīll happily pay 45 bucks for it because I really like what they did there.

L4D is much more polished than the sequel. I currently can't even play L4D2 due to a bug with Nvidia graphics cards and Windows 7 (The game slows from 60fps to about 2-3). It's pretty much ass anyways, nothing but ragequitting and a lack of user content. Even the Valve content is pretty pitiful. Skate 3 is a complete waste of money if you already have Skate 2 because there are far too few improvements. Lost Planet 2 has been completely confusing and sucks if you're going to play single player only because it's one of those "co-op only" games.
I'm half-way through Alan Wake and still immensely enjoying it.

I was suprised how much I hated the first one when I finally bought it last year...kind of dull...Really liked the second one though :)
But letīs not get started on Space-Dinosaurs which is part 3.

They really shouldn't have made a 3rd dino crisis.

Yeah that came off incoherent lol. The AI in single player pretty much runs in circles or shoots at nothing. You really need to play online if you want to enjoy the game.
On another note, Alan Wake's story goes south very quickly once you approach the end of the game. The game is still a lot of fun but the plot needed a lot of TLC.
Edit: I just finished Alan Wake. If you're looking for a game with a coherent plot, you may want to avoid Alan Wake. The ending makes no sense at all.

What Capcom SHOULD do is make a new Onimusha-Cycle, God knows what Nobunaga has done in all those years, no one keeps him in check GODDAMNIT!

I loved Dino Crisis and Onimusha when I played them in high school. When I came back to them as an adult, that view quickly changed lol. Man do I not miss those pre-rendered camera angles and shitty tank controls.

I never played them but always wanted to. The only Onimusha game I played was Onimusha: Blade Warriors.

The main reason I even bought a PS2 back in the day was because of the Onimusha Series. I recently purchased the 4th installment in the series and I must say it's quite good. I didn't really care too much for Onimusha 3 but I was happy that Samanoske made a reappearance.
Onimusha 1 & 2 are definitely the best out the franchise. The first one started out as a Resident Evil clone but by the second one it defintely started to take on its own innovative persona.

BECAUSE IT HAS JEAN RENO IN IT
It was OK. Nothing to write home about.
I remember vividly though that the way Jean Reno said the name "Henry" (ONRI!) pissed me off and the storyline reminded me of an 80's movie. Kind of like if you mixed Bill & Ted Excellent adventure with Back to the future and just tossed in some demons and samurai swords.

It wasn't Jean Reno's voice, though. If it did have his voice, then it would probably have been 500% better for you.

Just finished playing Stonekeep. The combat in that game has some unresolved issues, as evidenced by me killing monsters by throwing arrows at them. Not shooting them from a bow; throwing them.
