 Horror movies... those
gloriously gruesome flicks in which we all get to root for the bad
guys for a change. Then again, I always root for the bad guy in
movies, because let's face it - they tend to be much more interesting.
In a way, those baddies can be role models for us moviegoers. They are
the embodiment of confidence and a willingness to do whatever it takes
to get the job done (even if "the job" entails slowly shredding some
poor guy's face with a handsaw). But sometimes, these baddies go above
and beyond the call of murderlicious duty.
Sometimes they create death scenes that are far more brutal and/or
hilarious than normal. Well, it's high time we give credit to some of
these fine moments in horror movie history. That being said, for the next 2 months we'll be randomly adding to this list some summaries of what we consider to be the
greatest moments in horror
movies, and while this will by no means be a "complete" list, it
should stir up some great horror movie memories. So check back often for the latest additions!
