so what kinda art is on display? Modernist, performace art with people smacking paint themselves etc? Please get pictures!

RoG, I caught you at the last Hive opening, but I went to a gallery opening for Joe Vaux in Santa Monica last night instead of the Hive, since Joe is an artist who shows at the gallery I work at. If I had read this yesterday, I would've been at the Hive that night, too. And congrats to Re! On April 7, you both should come up to Pasadena and check out the group show going on at the Mendenhall Sobieski Gallery. It's going to be spectacular.
