My appearance on the Deminski & Doyle morning show 97.1 WXYT-FM in Detroit

I'm still recovering from all the Halloween insanity of the past month, so bear with me. Plenty of news, pics and new I-Mockery articles to come! In the meantime, here's an interview about zombie walks I recently did for the "Deminski & Doyle" morning show in Detroit earlier this October. Since it's a morning show and I'm located on the other side of the country, I had to get up around 5am just to talk with these guys about zombie walks. Considering the hour I was up, I'm surprised I didn't sound more like a real zombie during the interview.

Anyway, here's the mp3 of the whole interview:

Survey: For those of you who went trick-or-treating, what was the best thing you got all night whether it was a particular type of candy or something else in your bag. For those of you who did something else, what exactly did you spend your Halloween doing? And no, there's nothing wrong with just sitting in and watching scary movies if you happen to live in a place that doesn't cater to trick-or-treating... so if that's what ya did, just share with us what movies you watched!

Instead of trick-or-treating, I ate an entire bag of the fun sized Twix (about 25) and played Half-life. A Halloween well spent.

went trick or treating with my little brother and sister. the best things were when we stopped at his old teacher's house, she gave us little monster toys as well as candy, and the church around the corner of my house were giving out free hot dogs and punch. man, that juice hit the spot after wandering around up and down hills with two little kids.

Halloween night. I was alone at my house, resting well after work. Watched couple of horror movies (From dusk till dawn, Silent Hill) and read some Edgar Allan Poe. Nice interview, btw. You actually sound smart in this one, but the radio guys sound like those Raw/Smackdown commentators...

I went trick-or-treating with two of my friends and got more candy than I have EVER gotten before! :D The best thing I got was jumbo-sized Butterfinger and a full-sized can of regular Coke - both at a house that had a really steep, long hill. Totally worth the climb! :D

I went on a ghost tour through the city. Was pretty cool, learned about all sorts of gruesome murders that happened just a short walk form where I live. Hooray!

I had to work all night! Yay! I did your game, though. I miss all those LucasArts graphic adventures.

I spent my halloween at work, but it was one of the better halloween nights i've had in a loooong time. first i actually dressed up as a gang member. my boss made us a deal that if we each dressed up he would buy BBQ for all of us. I work for a cable company doing call center tech support overnight. so with just 6 of us here we had the HDTVs all to ourselves. we had our own unedited monsterfest and pigged out on the bosses dime. even played a little Dead Rising as the night wore on. i also have been listening to World War Z on my ipod, its a great audio book, but i hear the book is twice as long so i gotta get that. I want to thank you for making the halloween season enjoyable for me at work. i've turned all my coworkers onto your site and we all enjoy the festivities. Take it easy, or take it by force. Late.

I took a trip back home to PA and got together with a few friends and hit up a local "haunted" location. Its an old sanitarium located right outside of Scranton (yes it's the same Scranton for all of you 'office' nerds). It was built in the early 1900's to treat tuberculousis. After you hang out for a while and get into the atmosphere of the place you really start to creep yourself out. Unfortunately the building itself is very run down and fire has damaged alot of it and made it very dangerous to walk around inside at night, theres a chance it might be illegal too.

I found this link of some great pictures of the place. The first set are taken in early spring and make it look even creepier I think.

I threw a costume party, in which we watched Evil Dead 2 and punched and stabbed a pinata open (nothing to hang it on in my apartment, so we got creative!). Then we wandered downtown, where a street is closed off every year for Halloween night. About 20,000 people were partying in costume at some point along one little street... pretty sweet.

Man, that one guy really didn't like the idea to begin with, but you held your own good for that early in the morning! ^^

Well, I spent the 31'st with my wife aboard the Carnival Liberty and almost everybody dressed up and had a Monster Ball, Costume Contest, the costumes were awesome as well as the whole 8 day cruise (went to Mexico, Costa Rica and Panama) took a lot of pics and had one of our best vacations ever.

I hosted a Halloween Party after passing out candy to the wee ones. Idle hands was playing in the background. Can't remember the other movies. ;)
