Yelling At Comikaze 2012! *UPDATED*

UPDATE: Part 2 of my Comikaze video is now online. Scroll down to watch it.

A few months ago, I went to Comikaze 2012 and got a bit overexcited once again and started yelling at everything in sight. I don't know why this keeps happening, but I guess it's good for you since a camera guy was following me around to document the entire experience. Here's part 1:

And here's part 2:

Hope you enjoyed both videos, cuz they're a lot of fun for me to shoot every time. As always, please drop a comment on the Youtube page and subscribe to my channel if you haven't already. More videos to come!

Holy crap Joe-Bob lives!

Why in the blue hell is he not on tv right now?

The same reason "USA Up All Night" with Rhonda and Gilbert are no longer on TV. The same reason "Commander USA" is no longer on TV. Because the glory days of late night television are sadly long gone, and TV execs would rather fill those time slots with crappy infomercials. Horror & b-movies hosts (myself included) have moved to the Internet instead... would love to see Billy Bob do the same for a weekly online series.

Gee whiz, Rog. Tone it down, or them cosplayin' geeks might think you're weird, or sumfin'.

haha - very cool. The costumes at these things are getting better and better every year. Is there a site that has all the different conventions, dates, locations etc?

I don't think Joe-Bob is exactly techno aware. He has a site, but it gets updated maybe three or four times a year. I kind of assumed that he was out of the business, but seeing him in his costume makes me think otherwise.

I'm guessing copyright laws are preventing him from hosting online as his films tended to be rather expensive commerical films. The MST3K guys have attempted to circumvent this issue via "riff tracks" but it's hard to convince someone to go to all the trouble just to watch a movie. They really need an app for that.

While we're on the subject of conventions, check out this guy I caught at this year's Lucca Comics & Games con last week:

(Sorry for the double post, this would be a lot easier to get right on the first try with a "preview comment" option.)

HowardC: Near as I can tell, RiffTrax has been quite a success so far; I just went to another live show of theirs a few weeks ago. If Joe-Bob still has a built-in audience, and he evidently does, then he can make something work.

This is still my all-time favorite thing ever on this website. It resonates with me like...like art, man. This is Rog's Mona Lisa.

And I mean that.

YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!

Kenji - Not a bad Leatherface costume, though seeing him in bluejeans is kinda funny :P

Mister Tea - Yeah, I think Joe-Bob could do something online, even if he's just showing much older public domain films. People would eat it up.

Sixfeet - Haha thanks, I really have a blast shooting these videos and laughing with everybody afterwards, so I'm glad you're enjoying them. I gotta shoot some more "Yeah, That Exists" and "Movie Moments Make Me Mad" episodes when I have time too!

LeNoRe18 - We'll probably have a booth at Comic-con again next year, so I'll be happy to deliver on that hug!

God, if you did that all the days of Comikaze - you are just so awesome.

If you voice lasted that long that makes the awesome so much more better.
