Hollywood Ninja Inc.

Yeah... just let that photograph sink in for a minute. That's an actual store in Hollywood, and sadly, when I drove by it the other day, it had a "For Rent" sign hanging out front. You know the economy is in the pits when an impeccable store like Hollywood Ninja Inc. can't survive. Just look at all of the glorious items one could find within their unique retail business. What I really love is how the sign informs us that they not only carry mace, stun guns and handcuffs, but they also sell water pictures. That's right, those classy framed pictures of nature scenes with moving water that one usually can only find as a prize at carnivals. In addition to all of this, just look at the stunning array of colorful luggage and handbags that they had to offer!

Hollywood Ninja Inc., allow me to be the first to say that this world will never be the same without you and you will be sorely missed.

In related news, Crazy Gideon is apparently retiring. Man, I'm really gonna miss those commercials.

Cast Thy Votes For Doc Mock’s Movie Mausoleum In The Streamy Awards!

UPDATE: Apparently the deadline for submitting shows has just been extended to 11:59PM PST on Monday night, so if you haven't voted yet or wanna get in a few more votes, there's still time!

Hey guys, while we're gearing up for all new episodes later this month, the finals days to nominate us for the Streamy Awards are still taking place. Please take a minute and cast your vote for Doc Mock's Movie Mausoleum at streamys.org/submit/public-submissions/ in any of the categories you feel the show would be suited for. Best New Web Series, Best Experimental Web Series, Best Comedy Web Series, Best Ensemble Cast in a Web Series, Best Live Production in a Web Series and other categories are all available for you to vote in. And you can vote once per day between now and Friday, January 15th. When filling out the voting form, just put "Doc Mock's Movie Mausoleum" for the Series Name and "docmock.com" or "thestream.tv/docmock" for the Series URL and you'll be all set.

We really put a ton of work into getting this show off the ground and making it stand out so it would be a fun experience for everybody last year, so it'd be extremely cool if we could get nominated in any of the categories for the Streamy Awards. After all, a nomination would only help get word out about the show to even more people.

Christmas Aftermath 2009.

Alright, it's that time o' the year again and you guys know the routine. Post what gifts you received over the holidays this year so we can all be extremely jealous. As always, I'll post my haul in this blog thread soon, but since my birthday is coming up tomorrow, I figure I'll post it all together since they blur together for me. Is it too late to ask Santa for a birthday that isn't in December? Well, at least I'm getting to see friends and family back on the East coast over the holidays this year... something I haven't been able to do in quite a while.

Okay, on with the gifts! Post lists of whatcha got and feel free to include photos of your Christmas holiday hauls! Let's see just how spoiled you bastards really are!

UPDATE: Sorry for the downtime late last night and early yesterday... had major server crash, but they were able to recover all of the data thankfully so we're back up 'n running. You may now resume bragging about all of your luxurious new gifts in this thread.

The Big Christmas Holiday Special!

Question: What recently featured a ridiculous Christmas movie, multiple guests, a huge 36" pizza, Satan, a giant pizza-eating killer robot named Morg and more?

Answer: The Doc Mock's Movie Mausoleum Christmas Holiday Special!

I can't tell you guys just how much fun this episode was to do and I'm so glad we could end our 2009 season with a bang right before the holidays. Some of our kind viewers stated that watching this special is going to become part of their annual Christmas holiday traditions alongside viewings of A Christmas Story and Christmas Vacation. Wow... what more could we possibly ask for than that?

If you didn't get to catch the episode live this past Friday night, you really missed out on some of our best stuff to date, but all is not lost! We were able to get the episode archived online earlier than usual so you'd have plenty of time to catch it before Christmas!

Hope you all enjoy it and thanks again soooooooooooo much for all of your continued support for the show this year! It's been an amazing experience getting to live out one of my dreams of being a b-movie / horror host and keeping that format alive and well. Of course, I couldn't have done it without Re (Miss Diagnosis), Licky, Smiley, all of our past guests and everybody at at theStream too... so a huge thanks to all of them who've helped make the show what it is. We'll be returning again in mid-late January of 2010, so keep your eyes peeled for announcements of new episodes. TUSK!

Doc Mock’s Christmas Holiday Special Airs LIVE Tonight @10pm PST!

Alright guys, this is it! Our final episode of the 2009 season, the big Christmas Holiday Special of Doc Mock's Movie Mausoleum airs LIVE tonight (12/18/09) at 10pm PST / 1am EST, so I hope you can all catch it! We have a bizarre Christmas flick to show, some great guests lined up including a surprise mystery guest who's even a mystery to me and more! We'll still have the set all decked out for Christmas along with our festive outfits for the holiday season! And don't forget, we'll be judging all the entries from the Christmas Art Contest too, so if you haven't already submitted an entry, be sure to post it pronto!

Christmas Art Contest Ends Tomorrow!

Just wanted to remind you guys that we're currently holding a Christmas holiday art contest for Doc Mock's Movie Mausoleum and any entries submitted will be broadcast on our final live episode of the year tomorrow night! As always, you don't have to be a real artist to enter, you can use Photoshop or finger paints or whatever you like. In addition to having your entry aired live for the entire world to see (and yes, the entire world will be watching), you just might win one of our big Pixel Posters as well!
