That was a shitty concert. But people-watching was fun.

The guitarist was a dead ringer for Randall Flagg and the keyboard guy looked exactly like the rival pornstar at the end of Orgazmo, the one that farts into his hand and flings it. I mean, clothes and all, so that was pretty weird.

My dad was baiting yuppies to step in dogshit. There was this enormous pile of dogshit in front of our lawn seats, so my dad arranged the chairs so that it looked like a clear path. All evening, people were channeled to the dogshit like lambs to the slaughter. My dad laughed till he cried.

No :( The first year they did Zappa Plays Zappa they had Bozzio and Napoleon Murphy Brock, and it was great.

They didn't have any special guests this year, but it was still a gas! A guy behind me yelled for Montana the whole time even after it was played, and another guy in front of me kept pointing everything out to a friend of his like "wtf there's supposed to be a keyboard solo here" like he wasn't getting his money's worth because the band wasn't playing carbon copies of the album versions
